Fact1: Last year I did this was on a mountain bike with only 6 weeks training and came last, completing 253 of the 290 k’s. This year I’ll be on a road bike and I plan to complete the entire ride!!!
Fact2: Last year I was the only South Island Adventist participating in the ride. This year I have 2 or 3 Adventist friends joining me.
Fact3: I did a sky-dive a year ago.
