As I flew over Athens I stared out the window, mentally counting the hours of hard work beneath me. I was beginning to have a sick feeling in my stomach that I had bitten off a little too much. Even in a plane this felt like a long way. With only a few days to go before the start of the cycle there wasn’t time to start worrying.

I have a list a mile long of things to keep me busy before the big day. 7.30am at Trafalgar square on the 22nd of July is racing down on me fast.
